Took my detector along down to my parents while going to grab a bite to eat. (We live about 1/2 mile apart)

I hit along the side of their driveway for about an hour tonight. I know their was an old home up there many, many years ago but haven't been able to pinpoint exactly where it was. Narrowing it down slowly.

Was excited to find these two wheats in what is now basically "woods". While diggin' one of them came across the pyrite?.

Also dug this spoon which I believe may be a 1939 WM Rogers Imperial Silverplate.

Wish I knew how long the 30-30 was laying there.

Sure was good to finally get out even though it was only for a short while.
