Hey everyone.went out MDing sunday morning to the house where i recently found a US buckle and a breast plate(http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,48998.0.html)
When i checked my map and found that there was 2 more house sites within a 3rd mile of this one.So we did some quick GPSing and it brought us right to it.started swingin around for about an hour when finally i got my first cannon ball(well grape shot anyway)Needless to say i am very excited! deffinatly wasnt expecting that!!! Heres the pic(after i cleaned it of course)

That is a nice looking piece of grapeshot! I have only found 4 pieces thus far, and 2 cannonball pieces. Most of the time, the grape shot out here is pretty rusty, but yours looks GREAT!!! If yours was from the civil war, its about 100 years newer than then ones I have hehe Happy Hunting!
