At the beach this week. Took a wild horses tour this afternoon with the family. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491882082.204280.jpg
Tour guide showed me where his friend recently dug 3 Spanish Doubloons near some ancient Cyprus stumps on the beach.
Weather is amazing so far. Fishing, not so good, only a couple small ones from the shore and kayak.

Made it out last couple of nights on our beach MDing. Targets are sparse. Some clad and some beach drops. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491882484.934878.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491882500.052279.jpg
Then I find what must be an authentic pirate ship encrusted nail, or at least from 1819... ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491882654.052850.jpg (I've almost perfected the old rusty nail recovery process.) As nearby I got a solid nickel signal about 5 inches down. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491882793.666869.jpg But not a nickel or pulltab or piece of beach foil, but something with that yellowish glow. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491882897.923189.jpg
My first signet ring find. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491883007.185010.jpg 10k gold variety. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491883079.838097.jpg Now I just need to find one of those Doubloons and it will be a great week at the beach.

Good luck out there!

Nice! Beautiful area too. Are you going to try to find the owner of the ring?
Good luck on the Dubloon hunt.

I'm torn on the return. The name on the inside is worn, but the sorority is clear. I could send it to the sorority house and ask them to see if any sisters lost this ring in the last couple of years, but when looking into this ring I found the mfg and they include a free replacement for up to 4 years, only cost to buyer is $14 in handling costs. Odds are that this person already is wearing a perfectly new one now. Not sure... ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1491884732.198366.jpg
