Hit two banks today while running errands for my wife.

Bank one: $7 in halves in teller tray gave up two 64 and one 67 half. I was thrilled.

Bank two: teller had $11 in halves in the tray. I see silver edges. She asks if I want more. YES!!! Four rolls under the counter. Two of the rolls are not in paper, she had used rubber bands to hold them together, she told me she ran out of wrappers. One was one short of solid roll of silver. I bought her out. 45 40% ers!

But wait. I get home and notice one of the 40s is a double clip error. My LCS says it is the real deal.

Oh, picked up one box of dimes for three silver FDRs.

What a day!

Some silver porn for you all. See of you can spot

Awesome scores! Nothin like a fist foul of silver! And that's a pretty good dime box- about 6x better than my dime boxes.
Congrats!

As requested, here is a better scan of the double clip. Thanks for the kind words.

So..... The hits just keep on coming! Not quite CRH, but close. This has been a great week for coins here in Alabama! My daughter and I did our weekly stop at a local shop (mostly they deal in bullion with a pretty big buy/sell spread). They have halves/quarters/dimes/etc that we search through and buy the ones we want, I honestly believe that if a 1916 D Merc walked in their door it would go in the bucket for us to buy, we bought a 1934S Peace Dollar in VF a few weeks ago for $29 and an 1853 Seated Dime in VG/F for $2.50 as well. Paid $13 each for the halves we got today which is a little bit above melt, but check out the dates we scored:

Barbers:

1910S in VG
1907O in VG

Walkers:

1916D in G/VG
1916S in AG/G with readable date and MM
1917D Obverse MM in VG
1917D Obverse MM in VG
1917S Obverse MM in VG/F
1921S in VG+++ So close to Fine

My daughter (15) could hardly keep her cool. Pretty awesome scores. I have the entire walker set, so now my daughter has a start on hers! Pretty fun to buy semi-key dates at melt. Plus a lot of fun with my daughter. She really enjoys coin hunting with Dad.
