Couldn't take it! The sun was shining and the itch was taking effect. Decided to try and locate a hidden homesite this evening and it was a success. Took my lucky charm, my daughter, with me and we proceeded to dig 3 IHP and a mercury dime. Took her home and then teamed up with a friend and headed back. I dug another IHP and a barber and my friend dug 2 IHP, 1887 & 1900 (not pictured). Here is a list and pics...

-1893 Fob of the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition
-Another H. Disston Saw Emblem, 3rd dug this year and the oldest (1850's)
-4 IHP, 1888 x2, 1875, 1891
-Mercury Dime 1916 plain (plow damage I presume)
-Barber Dime 1892 plain (almost a seated!)
-Ring
-Old pocket knife
-Broken Crotal bell
-Decorative buckle
-Whatsit? (Has designs on it that look like grape vines)

You are correct Dank, and I didn't look too close to it until you mentioned it. I used a magnifier and here is what it looks like. So what does that mean in value, anyone??? Here is the close-up...

The "Whatsit?" looks like an older carb. gasket. is it copper?

Love the 1893 Exposition FOB. :o

And you have a very interesting double-date stamped barber dime there. ::)

Those are some really nice finds.

Funny about the barber. I dug a quarter a month or so ago right. And the words In God We Trust were doubled. Maybe someone can shed more light on the topic.

Just want to say thanks for all of you who respond to my posts. I don't say it much but I do appreciate the ID's that you help me with and the compliments of my finds. I enjoy all of your posts as well. I am pretty excited this year because I have surpassed some of my finds already and the season just started.
