Thank you friends, I have a very large archive of photos if I'm interested to exhibit, there is Ottoman gold and silver of the Roman Empire.

Started with a Garrett. I think I've probably tried everything make and model from 1977, all the way to the up to the E-trac and GPX 4800.
Nothing new as for me now, I am pretty much handicapped.

The Islamic date on the clean round "gold" coin is 1223; the same as 'our' 1809.
The value is "3". Is it gold?
The ruler was: Mahud II (1223-1255)

The other gold coin might be an Ottoman Turkich 'kurush' with a value of 25 pirstras; looking like this:

Спасибо, большинство монет определяют наши эксперты .

Но я больше увлекаюсь Римской империи , то чувство когда находишь монету римской империи не передать словами.

Sorry wrote in Russian

Thank you, most of the coins are determined by our experts.

But I'm more interested in the Roman Empire, then the feeling when you find a coin of the Roman Empire can not be expressed in words.

My ancestors came from Scotland, though I've visited there several times. Coins can be found most anywhere there, though I've never found a gold coin in Scotland. Yet, gold coins have been found there. One find remains of special interest to me. Gold coins were found in Lake Hakon--various spellings-- (near Scotland's north shore town of Tongue), dropped there when Bonnie Prince Charles was being hunted down by the locals, including the MacKay Clan. Charles party threw gold coins into the Lake (Loch) to prevent they being taken for the MacKays, et. al. Most of the coins were recovered, but not all.

An interesting story, not far from the city where I live 50-60 kilometers was a Roman fortification, but from it there was one hill, the weight strewn with ceramics, here around it I found many Roman coins ... I dream to find a gold aureus! Roman gold))
