Walking along in some open woods I spotted a couple bottles half sticking out of a small mound of dirt up against a tree.

The top bottle a screw top slid right out.The second bottle was wedged tight between some roots and another root was growing in the way at the back end of the bottle.

After a little more digging it didn't look good.

I got my pocket saw out and went to work, took about a 1/2 hour.

I still don't know how I got that bottle out in one piece. After getting it out I started raking the mound of dirt and found a few easy ones.

Had the same thing happen this weekend! Congrats! I have so many bottles to investigate now; I spent the whole day digging that pit yesterday.
