We woke up to an air temp of -9 this morning. This was after 18" of snow yesterday. International falls was -28.
Sunday will hit almost +50. With rain then back in the freeze & not above for next 4 -5 days.
I'm hoping all this is moving those goodies too deep to detect up in range for the spring thaw!

This cold mess is heading across the pond! Take cover!!!! Electric blankets, quilts, etc.
We will have our revenge with pockets full of goodies come spring, a silver lining to this extreme cold! Now If I can just remain unfrozen till then, brrrrr, think warm, think warm, think warm!

Forecast is for more heavy snow and lower than -10 degrees next week. Anybody stock up enough wood for heat when the power grid shuts down?

Jeff, wrap a muffler or scarf over your nose & mouth helps to keep warm air going into your lungs, cold can do a number on you. I wish I could post the pic of the neg 9 on the newscast I got a pic but no family showed me how yet.
We heat only with a wood burning stove, ranch style house, works awesome, have to open the doors to cool down from time to time.

What was that phrase they were tossing around....hmmm...global....what? Freezing???
