Hi all, well my buddy Gary and I got out today and hit the ole Happy Trails site again. We got to hunt about 4 hrs. before it started to rain.

We had another good day. Of course Gary's smoked me. He found a 1943 Standing Liberty Half Dollar, a 1954 Ben Franklin Half Dollar, 3 Washington Silver Quarters 1943, 1948, 1950, 3 Rosy's 1949 D, 1952 D, 1953 D, 2 Merc's 1940, 1943 D, 1 silver Canadian dime 1950, a 1943 S War nickel, 7 wheat's and a St. Christopher.

I found 2 Standing Liberty Half Dollar's 1945, 1945 D, 1 Standing Liberty Silver Quarter, no date, 1 Silver Mercury dime 1940, 1 Rosy 1955 D, 20 wheat's and one silver ring and of course lots of junk.

I am posting some pictures of today's finds. Gary's and mine. It was a little wet out as you can see from the pictures.

Good Luck and hope your day was just as good. HH<Ringfinder

Here our some pictures of my muddy detector and our finds today and my trash.
My partner took his trash home, so didn't get a picture of it.

Thanks Nate, it is a sweet site, just like the one you guys are hunting. Guess we will have to stop
for awhile because of the rain. Hope it doesn't last to long and the snow stays away.

HH Nate and to your dad Mirage and Iceberg! Ringfinder

WOW Ringfinder that's a load of great coinage. I think I would have to stay on that Happy Trail until next summer's sunset. Great deal. My happy trial will be my first silver quarter LoL.

Congratulations,

Wow, that site is maybe better than the 'berg! Sweet finds. ;D Four halves in four hours - you guys must have been slap happy. :D

I would think you were hunting the berg but we are finding stuff that dates a little farther back than the stuff at your site. It sounds though that your stuff is easier pickens.

That detector looks relatively clean. You should see Nate's after a day in the rain. Last Saturday there was a full layer of mud over the grip, control electronics box and coil. Next time I get a pic. It's amazing the abuse that DFX takes.

We are not going out to the berg this weekend. Other stuff going on. Will try to get out for a quick hunt.

later
