Re: "Hardcore Pawn" - Don't bother

Well the biggest difference in these shows is the violence :laughing7: Pawn Stars violence will be on par with someone hitting themselves in the forehead like, "I could have had V-8", vs Hardcore Pawns body slams, and grappling with unhappy customers. I guess that 8 mile is one tough area..

I'm just waiting for someone to come and punch their own gold tooth fillings and caps out to make a buck :laughing9:

Reading this thread makes me want to watch Hardcore Pawn. I have never seen it. The comments make it sound hilarious. It sounds like ghetto Jerry Springer Pawn from these comments.

allen, no I haven't, not yet at least.. I'm getting back into watching it and catching up on the reruns. :tongue3:

hombre_de_plata_flaco, yes... You really hit the nail on the head in your description of Jerry Springer meets Pawn Stars

I was disappointed when I first started watching it, hoping that it would be another Pawn Stars. So yes, I was disappointed to see the tact the show was taking. Then again, they seem to get the strangest items and have some of the funniest story lines, many revolving around having no money, pawning an item to get money, then rush off to the casino to make a mint :laughing7:

I hate to admit this now, but they have me hook, line and sinker and if I watch long enough, I'm sure those items will turn up there too. :laughing7:

X2
Jerry Springer to the max.
Almost as fake as Operation Repo, Or Wrecked about Ohare Towing in Chicago who ever heard of sending a Class-8 Wrecker to recover a Ford Pinto that went over the Guard Rail on a city street. Give us a break.

I Don't remember what the show was,
or Channel.

saw it about a month ago.

They go to Reposses cars then offer to Pay the Car off
IF They can answer 3 Questions.

it was Obvious IF your poor & they like you
they ask questions like is moon
square or round.

of course a few were so stupid they
would have got that wrong :laughing7:

& If they don't like you, Thay ask you
things like who was on the titanic

They ended up paying a kids car off

then asked him what lesson he learned.

he said he leaned if you don't pay your bills
somone else will :laughing7:

Great Lesson :tongue3:

jeff of pa, I caught a few episodes back to back earlier this week. It's on Spike TV  Yup, it's another wild reality show for sure :laughing7:
