Has anybody tried the Cibola in wet salt beach sand?

its no good in the wet salt sand..... but in the dry its as good as any detector i have used. ( xlt - dfx - x30 - ace 250 - dp wader - idx pro ) :icon_thumleft:

The Cibola will be unstable in most of the wet saltwater sand at normal sensitivity levels as are many other VLF detectors except Pulse units. As was stated it would be fine in the dry sand if the minerization isn't to high.

I found my Cibola behaved well at the beach. There was some falsing that I could easily work with right at the surf line but overall detecting was enjoyable. hh blue
