Late to this discussion, but the four foot "Hobbits" were found on Flores, an island in Indonesia next to Kimodo. And yes, there are also Kimodo Dragons on Flores. I think that the poster who thought that they little people were found in South America was confused because of the Spanish name. Just got back from Indonesia. Saw the Dragons, but no Hobbits.
