Have you seen this?

Can you sum it up so that I don't have to watch an hour long conspiracy theory video just to understand the gist of it? Looking at what types of other stories there are on that site I'm inclined to be skeptical. I think this following quote from the introductory text listed below the video probably sums up what I'm going to end up thinking about it:

"Because of the outstanding public response that has been generated by this book, Lindsey Williams is in great demand for speaking engagements, radio, and TV shows. "

Uh huh... beware of people making claims solely for the sake of selling airtime and DVD's.

Sorry TreasurePirate, but this time your conventional wisdom is wrong. I am not advocating Pastor Williams' work or his motive because I don't personally know the man.

However, to say he is simply trying to sell DVDs is wrong. Yes he sells DVDs on his site, but he also posts them for free not too long after they are released. Further, he always says during his interviews that anyone who buys or receives the DVDs is free to copy them and spread them to whomever they wish. If he were trying simply to profit you would see copyright infringement actions based on such behavior.

I followed Pastor Williams back when he allegedly received info from a MR. X and then would tell everyone what MR. X told him. After MR. X died he said who they guy was and MR. X was a well known oil man. I must say this, during the time MR. X was alive and supposedly giving Pastor Williams secret info, Pastor Williams' predictions were spot on. And I mean making calls nobody believed when he made them (the price of oil is a big one). I won't go into all of what he said but it is out there and proven as far as dates, etc. I was amazed at how accurate his calls were back then (or rather the info he released after receiving it.. not really his calls per se.)

He supposedly has a new MR. X but in my opinion his "predictions" have not been coming true like the former MR. X. But in any event I believe that Pastor Williams believes what he is putting out there. He might be a kook according to some but I don't believe he is intentionally spreading BS or simply trying to profit from his DVDs.

People on here like to say anyone who sells something is automatically full of BS with respect to whatever they say related to what they are selling. Sometimes that might be true but not always. I will take info from anyone and check it out no matter how kooky they sound or appear. Most of the people on here are wrong most of the time (including myself) so if I can get more accurate info why not?

PS I would also tell you TreasurePirate you are exhibiting something called "binary thinking", by inferring this is a black or white issue, ie, saying that anyone receiving money for something they produce means that said product or advice is faulty or inaccurate, etc.

Just my opinion.

Jim, thanks for clarifying your position. I was not aware of this pastor's past work. I am still skeptical but I am always willing to listen if the source is credible. However, I still think that someone posting a link here should give a brief synopsis of what the person is claiming. One or two sentences would be appreciated. For all we know, the link is to some porn site unless told otherwise. I can't commit to watching an hour long video that during the first two minutes plays like another episode of "A Current Affair". It's not that I'm not willing to put some time in to learning what this guy has to say. But there are countless links, videos, and people to watch. You have to pick your battles. And based on the other info on that site and how the video played in the first two minutes I can't see this as being a video I want to spend an hour of my life on.

I probably won't watch it either just because as I noted above, in my opinion his recent "calls" have not been coming to pass like they used to in the "old days".

I do have to agree that a quick summation of a posted link's article or video would be helpful.

His first few minutes into the video simply says that 'If you have a home mortgage you can not payoff, YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE YOUR HOME TO THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE THEY'VE MOST LIKELY HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT IT WITH 'fake' Q.E. 2 & 3 money they've been printing since 2008's bubble burst. Now that's a focus that should grab your attention..... (I've read where FEMA gave Hurricane Sandy homeowners loans. Now that they can't pay them back, FEMA IS FORCLOSING TO GET THEIR PROPERTY....)

The first part of the video is bringing a beginner up to speed. What I thought was very interesting was the Major News Broadcasting program's brief, but actual video, of all those major metropolises of empty skyscrapers and apartment buildings STANDING EMPTY in China. One after another, after another, and inside of the empty shopping malls, the Chinese builders and government officials falsely mounting well known company logos like "Kentucky Fried Chicken" or high end jewelry, watch, and clothing companies to make it look like 'they' are just waiting to move in and open up.... I believe it will take you awhile to comprehend how over-built China has become and making them one of the next nations to have a bubble burst and economic collapse.....

About 1/2 way, Lindsay Williams explains the importance to buy yourself major items of future need before Jan. 1st, 2014. It's not one major U.S. collapse, but many different ones (like the touted Trucker's Strike you may have read about) causing shortages and major price spikes, and it's really more than just storing food, water, and ammo/firearms.

The last 1/3 tells how he and his wife are living examples of how a Mexican hospital ability to improve your health with implantation of your own body's STEM cells that have been 'enhanced', not stem cells from other questionable sources. He flatly states that NOW is the time to look for health care OUTSIDE the United States. It's because after 'Obamacare' hits, 40% of our current health care doctors, nurses, and support companies will leave their profession, personal health care will go down in quality, panels will review "YOUR NEEDS" and decide if "YOU" should get them....

Fast forward through some of the video, but MAKE time to listen to it. It will widen your outlook and make you think of ways to deal with a future no one has dealt with before....

China's uniformed military has as many soldiers as America has in its total population. Russia has come back to strength, and it's power against the United States is like the power of a BEAR over a weak, overweight, non-producing, American... Have you seen the articles and photos of the FEMA camps, mass graves, and pictures of a guillotine in most of them??..... In a year, it's going to be bad, from there it turns into a nightmare..... No one really knows!

Pastor Williams, yep I still listen and I still looks for the signs he talks about especially the interest rates and the derivatives markets. He actually called the currency wars well over a year ago.
Hell he was the one that got me started stacking silver and meeting up with jim4silver. Lol

I believe his calls for future gold and silver prices are actually conservative (he used to say 3000 gold and 75-100 silver if I remember?). I also think his derivatives call will eventually come to pass. That was one of the "calls" he got from the first guy if I remember correctly and something about how it will be the derivatives market that will collapse and not the stock market. Nothing like watching 750 TRILLION (low end guess) to 1200 TRILLION (high end guess) worth of derivatives fall apart if that ever happens.

From what I have read if the interest rates rise too fast it will cause some type of issue with the derivatives whose value is based on said interest rates. Maybe that's another reason they will keep doing QE, so that interest rates hopefully remain low? I am sure everything will work itself out somehow. ???

Bill, thank you very much for providing an excellent summation. I would have been happy with one or two sentences but you went above and beyond the call of duty. I appreciate you taking the time to do that.

My house is paid for so I don't have too many worries on that front. As for China and Russia I can certainly see his points. But when it comes to conspiracy theories about FEMA my eyes start to glaze over. There have just been way too many ridiculous claims about how this tiny organization is going to put us all in concentration camps. My personal opinion is that we don't have too much to worry about from FEMA. They couldn't figure out how to serve a hot cup of coffee let alone organize a grand plan to put the entire population in chains. But that is my opinion. Everyone else is welcome to their own opinions.

As you have probably gathered, I'm not much on conspiracy theories. :occasion14:

I understand your point of view. These days it seems 'everything' can be fitted in to a larger conspiracy puzzle/picture. But, what begins to average out are the specks of details that make one 'look twice'.

All those FEMA vehicles parked at the end of closed airport runways, the railroad tracks near a facility that has never had huge heating units before, and the seeing first hand on Utube videos where fenced enclosures have signs of red or blue and walk lanes painted on the enclosed hardtop.

The last, and most recent, 'detail' that made me 'look twice' was posted a few days ago dealing with the flooding in Colorado. A company that makes Styrofoam model planes with HD cameras wanted to fly over areas where flood waters had become dangerous barriers in looking for stranded people. The company said FEMA refused them permission to fly their camera drones (R/C model airplanes).... When a 'weak/disorganized government agency has the power to override a positive element, one 'looks twice' at what they are doing and can do with an almost blank check funding.... When that agency comes into a place it should be a positive addition of manpower and kind of like the big trailers that Tide soap company has when they provide a free way for disaster victims to just get their clothing washed.... But now you and other readers will have a reason in the back of your mind to 'look twice' when FEMA is in the spotlight or just down the road... being aware, just in case.

Gold has been going down all year.I have friends who have been selling all their gold before it goes under a $1000 an ounce.
