Headed to Iowa

Heading to Des Moines for Thanksgiving to visit some friends. Am going to try to find some artifacts as well. Have never hunted Iowa before so I'm excited to add a new state to the list. Also going to try and find some Keokuk geodes on the trip back to St Louis. I'll post here if we have any luck.

No kidding. Keokuk and Nebo Hill are my two favorite axe types, would love to find one but I'm notoriously bad at finding hard stone. I find flint just find but hard stone is hard to come by.
