Hey guys, I recently came across this site and was blown away by the wealth of knowledge that is being so freely offered. I have not been treasure hunting very long but, look forward to many rewarding years. I am in the process of getting dive certified and would love to get into wreck diving. I would welcome any suggestions where this is concerned. Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of this forum and look forward to hearing from some of you.

Welcom aboard Captain! Getting certified is a great idea. I've dived all my life. Wreck diving is a must, with the right training. Metal detecting is another thing. Most wrecks are registered to prevent this. Some charge a few to be able to work for the day with restrictions. That's were research comes in. Good Luck! SonnyFl
