Been detecting for 6 or seven years now. Have dug enough to keep
me coming back.
The Wife picked up a detector 3 or 4 years ago and she loves it. She has
found the heaviest gold ring between us. Quantity is in my court.
We have been thinking about it and are wondering if we could make a go of
salvaging in the warm southern and eastern waters. Readign on here makes
one wonder if the door is even open in that category
I am a Patented Inventor and have been a maintenance mechanic for many many years
so the maintenance and upkeep and ingenuity should just come naturally. I have owned
a thirty some footer and my Aunt built and lived on her 48 footer for a few years. We are leaning towards a trawler but who knows?
Diving would be a whole new world but I am like a fish in the water....Wife is scared
of all but a hot bath.
Anyway I am glad to have found you all and am hoping to pick up an education in the next while.
If you are anywhere close to us in Ohio here, maybe we could get together to detect sometime?
