Hello - what’s the status on best relic/coin machines?

My father had a Minelab coin detector 25? years ago and I recall it really went nuts on circular objects. Many many good signals were circular shaped even if they were not coins. Not sure how they accomplished this, but it was a fact.

I’ve been using what I consider a gold (nugget)/relic detector (Makro Gold Racer) was wondering if there are any coin/relic/gold (nugget) detectors out there now that kind excel in that order. Looking to do more coin/relic detecting in gold country.

Does that make sense?
