Help I.D. This Artifact

I found this some years ago just out of Rome Ga. on the Al. line, no other artifacts of any type. It is stone of some type, with an iron content, but not enough to set off a metal detector, it is real heavy and has a perfect concave on the bottom. You hit the nail on the head, out of all my years of hunting, reading and going to shows, I have never seen one of these. This thing has been in my maybe box for 4 yrs, it just goes to show that you can learn something new everyday. THANKS A LOT:notworthy:
