Thankyou!

Thankyou for the group I hope someone here can help us out with figuring out the Identification and value also on few of our arrowheads.the where found in west central indiana not far from the wabash river if that helps.

Classic Grey Dovetail... Little bit of damage...
The other item is a knife of some form, not really a particular style i.e. Stanfield or Cobbs. But its big and nice!! Gonna guess a little over a hundred bucks at a show for those... Too bad the dove had the damage, that could have been a nice centerpiece... Nice stuff!!!! Thanks for sharing

Thankyou Quito, padirtdigger. Yes dovetail, nice even with tip broke bur still was great find and day in feild when found! YES HAVE THE OVERSTREET BUT STILL MOT BEEN ABLE TO ID EXACTLY WHAT BLADE IS. ITS G10 GRADE AS FAR AS WE CAN TELL. BUT NOT SURE IF OHIO VALEY, TENNESSE RIVER, UNIFACE BLADE, BENTON BKADE, LEMA ROUND BASE, AGATE BASIN , ANGOSHARA, OR ANZICK BLADE? ANY CLUES? THANKS AGAIN

Stanfeild or cobbs are also once we have looked at in trying to ID the long bladde one. Its been hardest one for too. Dove tails, adena and clovis lil easier but that ones a whopper.ant help is appriciated! Tjanks

YES DOVE ARE BEAUTIES & AMONG SOME OF OUR NICER FINDS. NONE AS BIG AS AS THAT ONE BUT SME SMALLER G9 & G10 GRADE. THAT ONE WAS FDIL FEILD FIND WHEN OUT MOREL MUSHROOM HUNTING. ONLY FOUND FEW MORELS THAT DAY BUT THAT BIG DOVE TAILOCKED THAT DAY IN OUR MEMORY FOR REST OF OUR LIVES.

That blade in question, are you showing both sides in those pictures? If so, it's not a uni-face blade.

They look kinda fresh to tell you the truth. Did you put anything on them like oil? Sorry not trying to insult you on the statement.

No I just clean all of them with a soft toothbrush & water when I get them home.
Thesy are nit wet in the pic I've found them few yrs ago.maybe the flash on my cell phone making them to look that way.

The adena and dove tail w tip off personal finds of ours about 4 yrsapart apart.the blade we purchased/bartered 2yrs ago from farmer freind who grew up In the area.

What are /would be the best way to tell if a point wasn't authuntic? We haven't bought or traded fir but a f iver the yrs usually mire to help out freinds or family who having hard times or unexpected expenses but we do com e across sme for sale smetimes.finding em for ourselves and the rush we get from it
