I take it there are no names or logos anywhere? Looks like a generic set of slip joint pliers to me. They don't even look all that old......just rusty.......maybe 1940's 50's?

Now a Garrett Ace 250.
8/30/12 using a Zircon m40 Stud Finder as a hand held pin pointer.

Welcome to T-Net, Cherokeedigger!

In 1976 I found one like that using my White detector. Not quite as ruff as yours, and I keep it in my kitchen 'junk/tool' drawer.

It comes in handy when I can't find my good one.

They are early utility pliers, 20's/40's. Looking at the jaws I think they were for holding and crimping. There is also a wire cutter in the shank. Tony

Hog ring pliers maybe? Are there indentations on the inside of the jaws?
