Help ID tooled rock

I found this piece of tooled mudstone in an area known for ealy Amerindians- it looks like maybe artwork, any ideas out there??

Possibly artwork- which would be a hell of a find. Either that or you have a great imagination. Or both

OK I took a pic after dusting it with baking powder.

I don't see any pattern. Not even like a well worn petroglyph.
I think it is natural.
Very nice way to highlight the marks you want to show though.
