That's a sweet piece!!! Did you find it in the bottom of an old estate sale tool or tackle box? Very nice!!!

clasp knives go back a lot further than you may expect...not a new invention by any means. Yours has a trade knife look to it.

If you could send the pics to the Coffman Hardware (Mackinaw City, Mich) webpage, I'll bet the owner could help you I.D. thais knife. He's the largest Case collecter in the mid-West,
and, collects a lot of others, as well..... Just a thought.
