Help with a mark please

Picked up a trophy cup today from 1945. It YMCA songfest with Lambda Chi Alpha engraved. The stamp on the bottom says Queen Victoria but I can't find any silver content mark. Any one know anything about this mark....Thanks

It is most likely plated.

Look toward the bottom of the page to see the hallmark for Queen Victoria.

I'd lean toward plated also, but just look at that patina! It's nearly as black as wrought iron. I bet it smells like silver too. Knowing that color and odor can bring you many great finds.
