If it is a black tektite, it's more likely to be either Indochinitas, Australitas, Phillippinitas or Ivorites; Moldavite would be greenish.

I did find it in England. But I could have made it here from Europe. And maybe it’s from a different metiorite strike.More detailed reply here, on your duplicate thread:

Sorry, but England is way outside the strewn field for Moldavite, and in the wrong direction from the impact site that created it. The spread was to the north and east.

It takes a particular kind of impact to create tektites and there are no known impact sites which could have resulted in tektites landing in our country.
