Help with ID

Quartz,found in Baldwin County,Ga., possibly a blade or perhaps some sort of scraper or maybe just a curved thin piece of quartz? Large end has what feel and look grooves for hafting but they also fit the thumb as well...any help would be appreciated....Carl

Yes they used that type of material. Not everyone will be able to pick that type up and see past the crudeness. Good Luck, rock

Rock, in trying to identify this piece what would you call it and can it be assigned to any geological period ?

Looks natural by the ends. I find it sometimes natural and sometimes worked but it is so brittle it is usually broken.
