I have found that homeless people can be very interesting.I have many videos that i am now uploading on my utube channel. Most of these people do abuse drugs.Very few do not use something.I think this is going to be a long story. These people are very adapted at what they are doing.I actually experienced sleeping under a bridge with Dave. The first picture.Have fun.Enjoy.

We are all just one step from being homeless ourselves. Alls it would take for any middle class is to miss one house payment and the banks would start foreclosing on your home. You wouldnt even know it till it was too late. Even if you paid every payment after that.

I hope your sleeping under a bridge one night, is the only time in your life, you experience homelessness.
ALL PEOPLE are very interesting, not just the homeless.

May I offer........ instead of taking videos, taking pictures, and taking their time........
Take a loaf of bread, peanut butter, and a jar of jelly, and help feed some of them.
Life has taken enough from them, their homes, lives, and even sanity, in some cases.
GIVE them something they will remember you as of good, please don't take from those that have nothing.

It's a very difficult situation. We tried to take some homeless people to breakfast, they would refuse and say"just give me the money" - They didn't want food, they wanted money for drugs. No way i was going to help with their downfall. Not all are like that, I understand, but it is difficult. Our local news staion did a report on the "homeless" they gave a few of them some money and then followed them to see where they slept at night. 3 of the "homeless" went to suburban houses that they owned. The news crew confronted them and they wouldn't speak...........Remember, I am not sying all of them - just saying it's a lot harder situation because of the drugs and fraud. I feel for the these people and wish I could help straighten their lives out............but it's tough!!!!!!!

You'll see the same bunch at the Social Security office getting your tax dollars so they can turn them into drugs. Why should I give them more? I'd rather give them less!

I feel for the ones with children. About 5 yrs ago I use to eat breakfast every morning before going to the lot to sell cars (job). I saw a couple with a small child needless to say I took them to breakfast and after gave them a $10 for their lunch later. The next few days I saw them again after sending them in the direction for help from a local help center. I saw them again in the same spot and stopped to see what happened and why they werent at the shelter instead. Both of them were stoned on something and the child was gone. I didnt stay after seeing that........I was very disappointed to say the least. I tried but it just wasnt the help they were looking for.

In Orlando FL there is an organization called "Food not Bombs". They feed people everyday in a park near downtown and they are permitted to feed 30 people per day. The Orlando police department has been adding a 31st person to the line and when that person is fed, the organizers are arrested, placed in jail, appear before a judge and receive penalties that range from community service to jail time and fines. I wonder how the Orlando police department would have felt about the loaves and fishes episode?

BTW, Food not Bombs is based in New Mexico and have branches everywhere. Just sayin.

Well, Im glad to see you have a little more (heart) and pateince then I do. I personally can not deal with the homeless in my Area. Most of them ARE able to work, yet still refuse to do anything but live the street life. Fort Worth is overrun with people begging for money, and dopeheads. As many, Im pretty much a paycheck or 2 away from being homeless, But i always have had a back up plan, whether it be my family, or whatever. I have not burned my bridges with everyone like most of the Homeless out there. I have cousins that are my age (Mid 30's) That i was very close with growing up, and i dont think twice about them being homeless. You can only help someone that wants to help themselves and Staying Homeless is NOT helping themselves.

This World is Eff'ed up enough already, the last thing we need are a bunch of Zombies roaming the streets in search of drugs, or whatever they can steal for Drugs. If you are not a contributing part of Society, then you are NOTHING to me.

My 2 cents
