Guys,

I may have found a spectacular new spot to run an MD.
For once I am keeping it for myself.
Yup the greed got me. LOL

Naw,
I was just able to get a long distance permission to hunt 2 acres in Virginia,
The place is an old historical (registered) .
It was Built as a Parsonage in 1836 with a carriage house on the grounds. Have been asking for some time as the place is near the house my folks live in.
When searching my parents place I have found many Large Cents several Seated coins and some bust coins including a couple spectacular half dollars. Most of the good things have been from 1812 to 1860
If this new place is as good I will be letting all see some super colonial and early Federal period stuff.
Will make the trip later this year, probably around Thanksgiving.
Kind of exciting.....

Mud,

This is out by Woodstock VA.
Lots of Civil war stuff, Union and Confederate.
Sherman came through here and made lots of trouble.

I'm Real antsy to start.

I'm too impatient to wait until Thanksgiving; I'd have to go next week...no, on second thought I'd go tomorrow. Good luck.

What you need is for me to make a quick run on the place to make sure it is any good. I am very busy right now but for you I will make time. ;D ;D HH

I found a lot of good stuff around the Woodstock area. They chased each other up and down the Blue Ridge through most of the war. Many camps and many skirmishes.

Am going to have to wait till I get finished with a couple of Big summer projects.
the first is the remodle of my house. the second is a bit of new information on a cache between the Roodie Reservoir and Leadville Colorado.
But thanks for all the kind offers.
