hey everyone,
Redneckin here

havent been out hunting in a while cuz school started back tuesday.....10th grade now lol

Went out this evening to the school and found the usual junk; pop tabs, zippers, pencils

Then i found this ring that has to be a girls ring cuz it cant even fit on my pinky
It has the stamp UAC on the inside of the band and its got some discoloration so im guessin costume
Costume or real?

The 2nd pic has a few other things i couldnt identify myself....
The metal disc is about the size of a nickel and has had black paint on it
The rock lookin thing is about the size of a golf ball and doesnt weigh more than a silver dollar probably
Any guesses?

The picture of the coin like object is kind of dark. Can you shed a little more light on it. Tough to tell what it is. Nice ring by the way. Good job.

Nice finds, especially the ring, congrats!!
The "rock" might be a piece of slag or a crusty piece of iron, or maybe something else.

Is it attracted to a magnet?

Smiles!

Thats a tough one rookie. Why don't you just mark it down in the shield nickel column and cross that one off your list. Possibly a token of some kind? How deep was it?

It wasnt but maybe 1/2 inch down
my dad looked at it better and he said it was a metal plug off of an electrical junction box
That sound right?

With all that rust on it I would say yes. I know nickels don't rust like that. Steel certainly would. Thats why you very rarely see anyone post a 1943 steel cent on this forum.
