Got permission to hunt about 4 hundred acres today. One field I hunted was 150 or so acres. found the remains of 2 old houes on the ground. Broke glass and Pottery, nothing whole but lots of cork stoppered bottle necks. Also found the rim of an old pickle crock. Alas not metal to speak off. Although the field was full of chirt (flint). I found several scrapers and proke points. Then on the way back to my truck I found what I think is a large spear point or maybe a knife blade. It is worked from red chirt. Very nice piece, but then again I dont know much about arrow heads/indian relics.

You should go back to that field and look around for other spots to search...
I bet there are some nice goodies to be found around those old houses....
Good luck in your search.... :)

Well Four hundred acres should keep you guys pretty busy! Looking forward to your finds. Sounds like you have some great potential sites at the old foundations.
