Dimes are my edge in this game. From what I've gathered, most of the big volume hunters in my area hit halves and quarters hard. Most are older gentlemen (at least +15 years or so on me) with a couple of old ladies here and there. So, I've noticed that they don't bother with dimes as much.

I wish I would've kept track of how many boxes of dimes I went through over the last year.

Anyway, I picked up a box of halves earlier today. It was a skunk. I'm gonna dump these and see if I can get a couple more boxes of dimes to sit down with tonight.

Do you only look for silver or do you look for the 1982 no p error dime

The box of halves that I packed up earlier was a skunk. Tons of Buffalo Boy's marks; two blue "B"s, one black "B", and two that said "Buf Boy" on the obverse with a date of 7/12 on the reverse.

Good luck with the Dimes and Halves, man, you're still doing really good with the reject tray finds! HH, Maverick.

hey man, sorry to hear you got a bunch of my coins... I marked those coins in july 2012, i guess the box was sitting on the pallet for some time before being recirculated... what color were the rolls?

Don't sweat it, all part of the game. They were brown-and-black rolls from Garda.

I get three types of boxes from Garda-supplied banks these days:

White-and-yellow wrappers that come in flat boxes with school bus yellow writing and a number stamped on top.

Brown-and-black wrappers that come in flat boxes with bright yellow writing, no stamp.

White-and-goldish/tanish wrappers that come in cube-style boxes, no stamp.

Just finished going through the first of those two dime boxes, it gave up two keepers:

1918D Merc
1964 Roosie

Pretty good day for me; I believe I pulled in a little over 1.5 ozt between the reject tray find, the box of halves, and this box of dimes.

Time to take a break, my eyes are buggin'.
