hunting easments

has anyone hunted the grassy areas between the old side walks and the streets? is that considered city property or the home owners, theres a old town that i went through today that still has cobble stone sidewalks and roads, that grassy area just looked TO GOOD!!! What Do you all think? THANKS and great diggin

Well in most towns/cities it is public but............the person maintaining the grass and upkeep will have a fit if you go to hunting without asking them. Your best bet would be ask the home owner or property owner permission and if the answer is no leave it at that. But i have found more times than not if all your asking to hunt is between the sidewalk and street you'll get permission and sometimes they'll tell you you can try thier yard.

If you knock on their doors, might as well ask to hunt the front yard. I have found easier to do the front than the back. The back seems more private.
