I started out by going to a river that has tons of civil war history behind it, it was a main transportation route for cargo and canoes. The union opened fire there, and an arsenal was destoryed with a mill building and carding factory. Today I found some really old glasses 10" deep near the water. Yes 10" I almost stopped digging but I kept going and poof there it was.

The other stuff I found on 2 playgrounds. Nails, screw, pencil, 2 pennies, 1 nickel, wire.

The two coolest things I found on the playground were the button type thing, and the carebear charm. I really wish the photo was better on the charm because its solid silver looking. Probably pewter.

Can anyone date the old glasses? Those have to be like pre-1940 or something, they don't make them like that.

The back of the charm in incredibly small says the following

".925 JCM (c) TCFC"

the (c) is a copyright symbol. So it really is real silver?
