i have been searching long and hard. through maps and research and it has finally paid off i found a confederate picket to the camp i've been searching for! i only could go for an hour but it paid off 4 shotgun slugs to enfields both with L base marks a few round balls, toe plate, and an unusual ceramic rivet button. not to mention i froze my butt off.

Great Finds-like the slugs. Relic dealers get $45 each for them as they are not often found. The "L" base Enfields are great too. As to freezing Bud, I found my first Eagle breastplate when the wind chill was 8-10 degrees and didn't get cold at all. Relic hunting is like Sauger fishing. If you are catching fish, you don't get cold. Keep us advised and HH.
