A 1943 P war nickel


A metal button


And I also found a 1952 dime in my change!!

Cool ! Looks like the plane took a direct hit

Definitely a little shrapnel damage to that plane

Looks like a battle damaged C-47 Troop Transport to me. Probably made right after WW2, but the embossed numbers are a little confusing. Why stamp them on the top of the wing? Congrats on the cool finds! Sub
