Found my 1st yellow gold ring (14k) in a open field at a park, 2.5 inches down. Then about 20 yards later i found my 2nd gold ring (14k) it was white gold! This was in the first 30 min of detecting, i detected for 5 more hours till my arm fell off! and got nothing more worth showing. That was last Monday.
On Wednesday i returned to the same park to hit the sand volleyball courts. but when i got there i saw that another detecterest had allready been there. it was east to tell because the sand was wet sand and held the footprints together really good, and the same prints had a nice grid pattern on all 3 volleyball courts. I checked them anyway, but he hadn't missed any targets. So i moved onto the grass next to the courts and found my 1st bracelet and it too is 14k gold and heavy, i sat there laphing in disbelief for a few minunits. I Had to keep looking at the stamp to reconfirm to my self that it was actually gold. I'm a fisherman and compared it to a 1oz sinker and it seems to be about the same, ill get it on a scale soon.
On Friday a buddy wanted to try out detecting so i let him barrow my kids prism5 and we hit a park in Tacoma and i pulled out a nice silver ring! I thought wow will the streak ever stop or have i become one with my machine and am now a jewelry finding machine?
On Saturday i hit a old beach in Tacoma that i have pulled lots of silver coins from, didn't get any silver but got a cool token. one side says "TACOMA RAILWAY & POWER"
and the other "GOOD FOR ONE CITY FARE"
yesterday which is now Monday, i found my 1st really cool button at 5 inches down, and it looks old, under the eagle it says "BE PREPARED" and under that "PAT 1917" the back says "SIGMUND EISNER RED BANK N.J."
And i aldo found my 3rd 50 cent piece, , those ar always fun to see.
by far it was my best week ever, i hope i can keep it up.
happy hunting.
