I slipped out early Saturday morning, trying to beat the heat. I went up the road about an hour and met P@tch. We set off to a couple of our usual spots.

First thing in the morning, this little nugget pops out. As soon as I saw it, I knew what it was.

A quick wipe revealed a silver ring!

A toothbrush with baking soda paste made it look like new. It's marked Uncas and is probably from the 1950s.

I also found a 1971 high school graduation tassel charm.

Here is a pic of all of the goodies. Including a couple of wheats and a mill marble. These marbles are the raw material for making fiber glass.

I followed this rainbow to the back of this building. I looked everywhere for the pot of gold, but as of this morning, have yet to locate it! I will be returning tonight with my dowsing rods and long range detector... stay tuned.

WTG Tom. A handful of keepers is what we're all shooting for. Sweet Silver ring and the marble is a bonus. Congrats to you Mister.

You cleaned that ring up right nice Tom. Congrats on pulling no. 9. That class of 71 piece is cool to. I'm looking forward to pics of the Gold. :tongue3:
