I slipped out early Saturday morning, trying to beat the heat. I went up the road about an hour and met P@tch. We set off to a couple of our usual spots.
First thing in the morning, this little nugget pops out. As soon as I saw it, I knew what it was.
A quick wipe revealed a silver ring!
A toothbrush with baking soda paste made it look like new. It's marked Uncas and is probably from the 1950s.
I also found a 1971 high school graduation tassel charm.
Here is a pic of all of the goodies. Including a couple of wheats and a mill marble. These marbles are the raw material for making fiber glass.
I followed this rainbow to the back of this building. I looked everywhere for the pot of gold, but as of this morning, have yet to locate it! I will be returning tonight with my dowsing rods and long range detector... stay tuned.
