Hi, I picked up some halves yesterday and found this. it is missing some letters on the back and they have not been scratched off or anything definitely done when it was made. also, it is in super shape, my scanner made the luster on the back look like pock marks for some reason. is this worth anything? ever seen anything like this? thanks and Merry Christmas

It looks like the missing letters could have been caused by a greased die. Basically, it happens when the spaces in the die fill with grease or something else (duh, I know, Greased Die Error :tongue3:) and those images arent transferred to the coin.

;D That's what I think it is.

Grease filled die. No major premium. I haven't seen one of that type before. Good eyes!
