I headed o0ut to the 'other' no-no park (there are 2 in town that the SU is less than pleased with me to hunt). BUT, but , but I always find good stuff and today did NOT disappoint!

I found 2 rings, 10k and the other I dunno but it has "purity" stamped inside the band--plus-- a pair of diamond earrings that were still attached to the placard (for lack of a better word/description).
And, and, and>>> an old watch face, a wheat penny (I believe the date is 1910?) and almost 4 bucks in clad!

Ahhh...it feels good to MD in the sunshine!

Hey Vibes, looks like you had a great day at the no no park, I can imagine why you call it that, I think I have one of those to, but it always gives up good stuff. Even like the kitty you got, have a great year, the sun is nice, Ken.

countrydncr1,

I thought the same thing...quite the dichotomy!

Yeah spooky, that's a first for me...diamond earrings like ya find 'em in the store....beyond odd.

shadowmanflash, this is a "no-no" park due to the fact that a prostitute was murdered and her body was placed under the monkey bars. That's why the SU doesn't like me hunting that park. I'll never stop...it just keeps on givin'.

Dang, I forgot to take a pic of the tuning fork I found yesterday. Another first for me. Oh yeah, here's a couple of pics of my adventure yesterday!

Nice finds Vibes. Yep those Monkey Bars are Killer! :tongue3: Seriously though, that was a very bad day at the park for her. I remember it well. Sad town we live in. :( Congrats on the digs though and be careful out there. jgas

Hello Vibes !! :hello:

Great job on the hunt ! :o Are the studs of those earrings marked ? :icon_scratch: Great rings keep it up !! :icon_thumleft:

You be SAFE out there ok, ??? make sure lots of people can always see you. Bring some Mace or something too and be ready to defend yourself at all times. :icon_thumleft: We would hate to see you get hurt or worse because you love your hobby. >:(

Keep @ it and Happy "Safe" Hunting !! :D ;D

Rather than Mace, you might consider a can of wasp spray. Much cheaper, totally legal & lethal out to 10'-15'. Make/buy a cupholder type belt carrier for it.

Glad you had a good hunt! ;D
