Well, at least I felt that way after my last find.
It started out with a 1923 Buffalo nickel.
Then I found this brooch or pendant looking relic with lots of fancy on it. K 816 on the back.
Followed by Multiple pop tabs (I am digging all tones now) and 90 cents clad.
I walked over to the adjacent field for a bit and hit on this low tone. I about fell over when I flipped the plug and shiny gold glimmered in the sun light. It really did.
It was a ring. An 18kt gold ring. Can you believe it? Very heavy and wiped clean. Somewhere this ring must have sustained a very hard hit.
A few swings after I caught my breath, I got a quarter hit, flipped the plug and saw Lady Liberty facing left with Braided Hair 1849 (Here is where I heard the Hoover Boys theme song in my head).
I just stopped and started home because I wanted to end with this find.

I cleaned and reshaped the ring and this is what was inscribed on the inside.

Does anyone have any info on this ring and Maker?
Thanks for looking.
