I'm alwayslookin for stuff when fishing, actually anywhere I go I'm alwayslookin. Yesterday waiting for a hit I spied a glimmer in the water,"That looks like gold",danged if it wasn't.The clasp was embedded in a piece concrete along with several other objects,it had been in the water for quite some time as some iron objects had rusted away.YES..14K.Haven't been able to hunt for months now due to a messed up knee.Wasn't much, but,it made my day!

Your right... this is very political... is it a "lobster claw" or "crab claw" clasp ? ? ?

I think you might have posted this in the wrong forum :)

I see that now..jeff would you please move this where it belongs PLEASE.

Wow! Good eye Chris.

Nice find! :occasion14:

Gold is where you find it.I found a little 14K loop that would hold a pendant on a necklace in a concrete expansion crack.A person just needs to keep their eyes peeled and surprises happen.

Nice job "eye-ball'n" that piece of gold. Its funny how this sport of ours trains us to be on the look out for stuff...always.
Sorry to hear about your knee. Hope you are on the mend.
