Wait until you find a Canadian PENNY the size of a half in your half box.

It was copper. I was underwhelmed.

Ive found a 1902 Canadian quarter, and I can't remember the year off the top of my head but I found a few British coins as well.

I love the Philippine silvers. I have found a 1918 10 centavos and a 1944 20 centavos, both in the TD rejection tray.

I have found two 1968 Canadian dimes, as well as a 1935 English six pence. All three are 50% silver. :headbang:

I have found a 1944 British Half Crown in a roll of halves. I have also found a 1951 G German Five Mark piece and a couple of Canadian silver dimes. All at least 50% silver.

Just pulled a 1972 1/2 Swiss Franc from a dime box. Not silver, but a cool looking coin. It is a keeper!
Box was silver skunk

Just on Tuesday night, I found my first ever foreign silver in a 1,000K dollar bag of halves... It is the most beautiful coin I have ever seen. It is a 1958 REPVBBLICA ITALIANA L500, has a pic of a lady on the front, with shields along the edge of the coin, then on the reverse, it has the 3 ships columbus brought to "discover" America. The coolest part of this coin, IMO, is that the edges have engraving on them, (like our new presidential dollars). There are stars, then the date (1958) then more stars.
Unfortunately this was the only silver in the entire 2 bags I picked up. It was definately nice to find, but that is alot of work for 1 silver.
