Looks like a normal cent that has been cleaned leaving the copper that color. Copper can be almost any shade depending on where the coin has been and what has been done to it.

^^^ Correct. Rocks2, if you want to see for yourself, take a common wheat cent and let it soak in vinegar. It will enter dark and come out light.
