I popped my wheatie today

Finally...not only did I find my first wheat penny today but I found three near the same tree, where 40 other pennies were also scattered. Never had that happen before. Unfortunately, I did not find any silver today but glad to have popped my wheatie. :) I know this is is no big deal to those much experienced but for my 1st summer detecting, I'm happy.

Actually it is a big thing, you might have found a spot where no else has been. Now that you have removed most of the copper from that area, check your settings and go back and get the silver. It is very likely that you did not get it all. Kind of like picking strawberries or mushrooms....... no one gets all of them.
