I think I've passed the hobby onto the next generation

f I took my seven year old son out this morning to a couple of sales. Normally he's not too thrilled about going but today he was happy to go so he can spend time with me on my birthday. I didn't find anything interesting but I found got him his first wallet for $1. As we are driving around looking for sales he looks through the wallet and pulls out a crisp $100 bill that was tucked in the back! Totally cool! I "recommended" that he should save half and spend the other half to celebrate his good fortune.

I have a feeling he is going to be my new garage sale partner!

That doesn't sound like a very efficient way to locate yard sales. Check the Garage Sales section on Craigslist. They will even map them for you. I hope you and your son have a lot of fun treasure hunting!

Hehe I live in a small rural town. They don't post on Craigslist around here. I found a few in the newspaper and several that weren't advertised at all.
