That's not a ground pontil, but just a smooth base. Still a nice bottle though.

i have to agree with sand chip its just a smooth base. i dont think ive ever seen a bottle with a ground pontil. this style of pontil was mostly used on pitchers, decantors, and flint glass. regardless its a nice bottle.
