Found this today and the home owner loved it so I gave it to him. The problem is I do not know what it is, but I told him I could probably find out. The house dates back to 1810 or before.

Thanks for the help! I called him to tell him exactly what it was and he offered it back to me, but I know he likes it so still let it stay at its home. The excitement for me is finding (but I will admit I do love my coins).
