Civil,

nice finds.

What do you think on the first one? Medicine,
with that lip.

Like the blue, could be Pepto.
Any type of blue is nice on a window with
some light coming in. ;D

Again, nice group of bottles.

have a good un...............

Shermanville's right about it being a medicine type bottle. It's a pour-lip bottle with a screw on cap.Your bottle looks like an example from Abbott's Laboratories. On May 5,1936 Edward Ravenscroft from Glencoe IL. received a patent for the first screw-on type of bottle cap with a pour-lip:Abbott Laboraties of N.Chicago manufactured the bottles.

Yeppers...I have seen a few Whiskey bottles that use the same application. Kind of an on-board shot glass ;)
Yipper,unfortunately not this particular bottle.

No problem,it's just not the bottle type your talking about. This one has a metal screw on lid. Here's another example.

OK theres what they are:
1: its some sort of medicine that has a pouring lip.
2: "hires" it root beer extract for when you want to make some root beer
3: i think this one is a old pill bottle, but it would of have a paper label on it with name dossage etc.
4:??? can i see what it says on the side
5: milk of magnesia bottle

all from around the 50's

New or old, who cares? They are some great looking bottles. Gotta love any bottle that is colorful or has raised lettering. You did a nice job of cleaning them up, they look great!!!
