Lucky for you I am feeling "helpful" this morn...

So...
My guess...

Snow.

Kidding aside... A picture would help immensely. :)

Its hard finding those attachment buttons, if the guy is working from a phone app I feel his pain. I still have major issues with my phone app.

No problem Bud, and welcome to tnet. You should go to the what is it fourm here and read the stickies. I don't know what it is but it looks like a cool find. If you post it there, I'm sure you will get an ID

I found this in my backyard. With some other stuff. Any ideas

Welcome to Tnet! There's a wealth of knowledge on this site and I enjoy it thoroughly. Question: what happens with your screen name when you become an expert?

Anyway, looks like Crusader got a good ID for you. Congrats

Confederate cavalry bridle rosette.
I'm not disagreeing because I'm not sure, but what makes it Military related because similar finds in the UK are Civvy?

I agree confederate cavalry rosette. Very nice find and worth some big bucks. Go back to the site and keep digging
Can you just explain a little more about what makes it Military? Thanks.

Beautiful CS rosette. One was dug on Hansborough Ridge in 2007 at a DIV hunt. They aren't found often but if you are in Richmond the odds are obviously better. Banner find in my book.
