I'm Still Alive!

Hi all,

I started a new job early in the month and haven't had time to do any detecting, that is until today. The weather will turn colder this week, so I decided to get out while the gettin' was good

The schools weren't giving up a whole lot, but I managed $2.54 in clad, a German Deutschmark coin and my 36th ring of the year..no markings that I can see but it's pretty.

Some of you are aware I'm publishing a "how to" detecting manual for beginning detectorists. After 3 years of work it's almost finished and I plan to have it out by spring (another reason I haven't been out lately). More details about it as they become available!

You all have made me feel good to be here ever since I began posting my finds 3 years ago! Thank you for the warm reception. I will keep everyone posted on my book's progress and try to get out at least once more before the really cold weather starts. Hard to believe another detecting season is almost over (at least for us here in the midwest)! I'll be posting my finds for '09 sometime next month..until then Happy Hunting!
