I'm wondering if you could help me with an identification

I am clearing up an estate with lots of good old stuff and have come across these 2 pinbacks. They have lots of age but I just can't figure out what they represent. The one on the left is like a Maltese Cross (ie representing Malta not Nazi's) and the other seems to have the letters ACSC (but I am not sure of the order or what they stand for). Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Here's someone selling a similar ACSC lapel pin. They attribute it to the Automotive Club of Southern California, but even they say they aren't 100% sure. Nice pins!
